With an emphasis on strength and versatility, all MIDWEST barriers and gates have been designed to facilitate ease and convenience of installation. All Van and 4WD Barriers are constructed of heavy 5 and 9 gauge (the thickness of the metal) wire; Car Barriers are constructed of heavy 7 and 9 gauge wire; all are turned 90 degrees at the base for extra rigidity (not flexible).
